Nolensville Rec Center1:00 - 3:00pmMonday - ThursdayJuly 27th-30thIn this camp students will get a hands-on introduction to DIY and woodworking!Students will learn about different species of wood, how to drive a nail, how to measure with various tools, use a drill, prepare wood for painting and finishing, and much more. Students will also learn how to make sketch drawings for their projects! Safety as well as proper technique, organization, and care for tools will be demonstrated and emphasized. By the end of the week each student will have assembled and painted/stained a wood-related project that they will get to take home! Students will leave with a foundation and confidence to want to learn more about invaluable life-long skills and talents like DIY and woodworking!
Safety glasses and all other materials will be provided!
