Nolensville Rec CenterTuesdays, March 24th- April 14th5:00 - 7:00 pmIn this multi-week class, students will get a broader overview of woodworking and DIY. Emphasizing safety and proper tool use and care, they will learn about many hand tools regularly used in a shop. Students will also learn about measuring tools and techniques, how to drive a nail, use a drill, clamps, chisels, a hand saw and more.
All instruction is demonstrated with hands-on teaching. There's a technique and proper way to do everything. Students will become comfortable with and proficient in the use and safety of the tools they'll need to build and assemble a box with pre-cut pieces of wood that will be provided. Students can expect sand and prep the wood, assemble and glue, then paint or stain.
Join this class and get a head start on learning invaluable life-long DIY and woodworking skills, all while nurturing a creative outlet!
A supply fee of $10 is due to the instructor at the beginning of the class.
