NOTE: You are registering for the Thursday night STARbound Program class at the Nolensville Rec Center in Nolensville.We are offering a new theatre experience called STARbound at the Nolensville Rec Center on Thursdays this fall! This 10-week, 1.5 hour weekly class is for those new to theatre and/or those who want to delve more into learning in more detail about the different aspects of theatre. The classes will focus on singing, acting, and dancing through games, exercises, mini-workshops, and performance. Students will learn about stage presence, projection, parts of the stage, roles of those in a production team, auditioning, and basic theatre etiquette. The fall session will center around the songs and roles of Annie* and end with a revue performance for friends and family members on Thursday, November 6 at 7:00pm at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center in Franklin.Participants should bring a labeled water bottle to class each week.
There is an additional $10 supply fee that should be paid directly to the instructor at the first class meeting. There is a $25 sibling discount (after first child) if siblings register in the same transaction.
(Note: Class will not meet September 11 or October 9.)
Each participant gets a class t-shirt.

*Annie is based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical featuring everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
