About This Activity
Our part time U19 Freeriders are dedicated to the sport of freeride, continuing their progressions with focused and dedicated training in the steepest and most exposed portions of the resort. Although competition is not required, participation in regional and national events is highly encouraged with the end result being trips to North American Championships, World Championships and the path to the Freeride World Tour as an adult competitor. Our on-hill daily focus will help polish and refine the movements built as U15 athletes, with increased attention to precision technique and advanced tactical development. We highly encourage our part time U19 athletes to engage in independent strength and conditioning programming in the off-season, as well as embracing complementary sports like mountain biking and running to maintain and improve their base fitness.
