About This Activity
Exploring Art Styles June 30-July 3 (no camp July 4th) Mikayla Spivey In this exciting week of camp, we will explore iconic art movements through different art mediums. Students will learn to capture light and color like the Impressionists, experiment with bold, vibrant techniques inspired by Pop Art legends like Andy Warhol, and dive into the innovative approaches of contemporary artists. They’ll engage in various artistic mediums, from painting and sculpture to mixed media, all while gaining insight into the history and significance of these styles. By the end of the camp, students will have created a portfolio of works that reflect their unique take on each movement, along with a deeper understanding of how these art styles continue to shape the art world today.
