About This Activity
StoryLab: Drawing Stories to Life Throughout the week, campers will invent characters, explore story adventures, and bring their ideas to life through drawing, painting, clay, and simple bookmaking. Each day includes a blend of art-making, storytelling and movement to help children stay focused, energized, and open to ideas. Gentle stretching, imaginative movement, and breathing games are woven into the day to help bodies settle, ideas flow, and creativity feel fun and natural. Children are guided step by step while being encouraged to follow their own instincts and interests. By the end of the week, each child will leave with a collection of original artwork, a picture-based story map, a clay figure and a finished handmade storybook.
