NEW for 2025 - Registration for summer camps will begin on Monday, April 21, at 8:30 a.m.Paddle and explore the natural and cultural history of the James River. On day one, explore the lower James while paddling the tidal lagoon and wetlands of the Dutch Gap Conservation Area. On the second day, paddle a seven-mile stretch on the middle James from Bent Creek to James River State Park. On the last day, launch in the upper James and paddle a six-mile section from Buchanan to Arcadia. For ages 12 to 14.
