About This Activity
Description
What's better than a creek on a hot day? Alongside an environmental educator, participants will learn how to use nets and magnifying glasses to explore the cool waters of Falling Creek and complete a scavenger hunt of creek creatures. Come ready to get in the water: closed-toe water shoes are required. At least one adult must accompany each participant.
Program Information: -Program is held outdoors. -All materials will be provided. -Distance traveled will be between 0.25 and 0.5 miles. -Outdoor surfaces traveled on in this program include: paved trails, dirt trails with roots and uneven surfaces, and a creek bed with sand, mud, and rocks. -This program includes visual and tactile elements.
