Track different tree’s seasonal changes from Summer to Fall with a Leaf Nature Journal. Participants will create a nature journal, go on educator-led hike to identify and observe changing tree leaves, and learn methods of preserving leaves in their journals. Nature journal materials will be provided. Close-toed shoes required.Program Information: -Program is held indoors and outdoors. -At least one adult is required to accompany juvenile participants. -Hiking footwear is recommended. Trails have periodic benches for resting. -Distance traveled will be between 0.5 and 1 mile. -Outdoor surfaces traveled on in this program include: paved trails, dirt trails with roots and uneven surfaces, and steep hills. -This program includes visual and tactile elements.
