Join an environmental educator to discover the what, why, how and when of nature’s greatest mysteries. Held every other week in the spring, participants will learn about a different subject each session. Take a short hike or learn a fun game while discovering something new.Program Information:
- Program is held outdoors and indoors.
- Guardians are required to accompany participants, no drop-offs.
- Hiking footwear is recommended. Trails have periodic benches for resting.
- It is recommended to dress participants in weather-appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle.
- Distance traveled will be between 0.25 and 0.5 miles.
- Outdoor surfaces traveled on in this program include paved trails, dirt trails with roots and uneven surfaces, and creek beds.
- This program includes visual, auditory and tactile elements.
