Join an environmental educator to discover the What? Why? How? And when? of nature’s greatest mysteries. Held every other week in the fall, participants will learn about a different subject each session. Take a short hike, play a fun game, and experience a new topic hands-on while spending time outside.Program Information:-Program is held outdoors and indoors.-Guardians are required to accompany participants, no drop-offs.-Hiking footwear is recommended. Trails have periodic benches for resting.-It is recommended to dress participants in weather-appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle.-Distance traveled will be between 0.25 and 0.5 miles.-Outdoor surfaces traveled on in this program include: paved trails, dirt trails with roots and uneven surfaces, and creek beds.-This program includes visual, auditory, and tactile elements.
