About This Activity
Description
Participants will learn techniques, form, and rules for target archery, as well as try different types of bows (compound and recurves), shoot archery games, and perform drills for becoming a better archer.
Twice each season, participants can earn one of the rank patches based on personal shooting scores. At the end of the season, archers compete in a members-only tournament where kids pit their skills against others in their age brackets.
Bows and equipment are provided; personal equipment may be used with instructor approval.
Instructors are USA Archery certified. Cost includes equipment, patches, tournament medals, and trophies.
