What's better than a creek on a hot day? Alongside an environmental educator, participants will learn how to use nets and magnifying glasses to explore the cool waters of Falling Creek and complete a scavenger hunt of creek creatures. Come ready to get in the water: closed-toe water shoes are required. At least one guardian must accompany each participant.Program information:
- Program is held outdoors.
- Guardians are required to accompany participants, no drop-offs.
- Hiking footwear that can get wet is recommended. Trails have periodic benches for resting.
- It is recommended to dress participants in weather-appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle.
- Distance traveled will be between 0.25 and 0.5 miles.
- Outdoor surfaces traveled on in this program include: paved trails, dirt trails with roots and uneven surfaces, and creek beds.
- This program includes visual, auditory, and tactile elements.
