Prepare to get dirty, and do some hard work out-of-doors! Gardening is a terrific way to build character, learn, and make the world a better place. Learn by designing, building, and planting gardens. The class will take care of our many existing gardens on campus. Some that we may tackle are the lower school secret garden, the first-grade butterfly garden, the second-grade peace garden, Aspiration Acres, the pollinator, and our kindergarten pumpkin patch. We will be planning, planting, dividing, weeding, and watering, while we develop and nurture our sense of the environment. Bring work gloves and boots. instructor: David Harris & Omid Tavakoli
