About This Activity
Sea Star Production's mission is to empower young people to use their gifts and confidently shine through the performing arts. We provide young, aspiring artists with the opportunity to grow, forge lasting friendships, perform, create unforgettable memories and shine, all through the joy of Musical Theatre. As Musical Theatre requires performers to be triple threat artists we are offering two new and exciting classes this fall: Musical Theatre: Acting and Singing Technique and Musical Theatre: Dance Technique. Both classes are carefully curated to develop the skills required to be a true Musical Theatre performer. Musical Theatre: Acting and Singing Technique: In this class students will develop their speaking and singing voice, as well as enhance their communication skills through classical vocal techniques, warm ups and training. Students will also learn how to create, explore and develop characterisation using voice and movement, as well as classical and contemporary acting technique. Finally, students will participate in improvisation exercises that promote and encourage spontaneity, creative expression and self-confidence. This class is guaranteed to be a whole lot of fun! Students will learn to work and perform individually and as an ensemble. Both classes will end with a special showcase for family and friends to enjoy. We highly recommend enrolling your child in BOTH classes so they can fully develop the skills necessary to be a true triple threat performer. To celebrate these new classes starting we are providing a 10% discount when students join both classes. Please contact us after completing registration so that we can process a refund for the 10% discount. This class will be taught by our founder, Charlotte Denton, who has carefully created the curriculum for this special class. When her baby arrives her amazing assistant, Cadee will be taking over the class
