Creative Musical Movements classes are designed for pre-school children allowing them to explore a variety of movements that will introduce them to the fundamentals of dance. Nurturing a young child’s imagination and taking them on a movement adventure. Classes include musical instruments and props like instruments, wands, scarves, etc. to encourage learning of hand eye coordination, rhythm, structure, play, imagination, and creativity. Please come early, class starts at the start time and we encourage dancers to be ready to move when class starts. Allegro Performing Arts Centre and McTavish Academy of Arts are pleased to join forces and provide the peninsula with another opportunity for high quality dance instruction. Specially designed classes for students and families who are looking for a recreational, non-performance program for their dancer. With shorter sessions these programs are the perfect place for new students or anyone looking for a short term fun dance class. Allegro is pleased to be able to collaborate with McTavish Academy as we all continue to share our love of the fine arts and help to foster a community of artistic appreciation throughout the Peninsula.
