Summer Camp: 3D Modeling in Blender for ages 11-15 Instructor: Galina Wachs Dates: July 27 - July 31 Times: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM 5-days: (M) $180; (NM) $200 Students must bring a laptop with Blender software already installed, and a three-button mouse (with scroll wheel) and mouse pad Have you ever wondered how artists create the worlds in your favorite video games and 3D animated movies? This 5-day class teaches the fundamentals of 3D modeling using Blender, the same free software used by many professional designers and artists. We will learn how to model objects from simple shapes, add colors and materials, set up lighting, and render our own 3D diorama. No prior experience is required, just creativity and a willingness to learn.
