Tee Time: Clone Your Favorite Shirt Workshop for ages 8-15 Instructor: Mila Pershyna May 24 Day: Sunday Time: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm 1-day workshop: (M) $55; (NM) $61 Material fee: $10 paid to instructor on the day of the workshop Do you have a T-shirt that fits you perfectly? In this workshop, young designers will learn the industry secret to creating a pattern from a garment they already love! Students will bring their favorite fitting T-shirt to use as a template. We will teach them how to trace and draft a professional sewing pattern from it. Then, they will use that pattern to cut and sew a brand-new custom tee, learning to work with stretch fabrics and professional finishing techniques along the way. Supplies: Bring one T-shirt that fits well (to use as a guide). We provide a variety of knit materials! However, if your student has a specific color or print in mind, they are welcome to bring 1 yard of knit (stretchy) fabric to customize their look.
