If your child has ALREADY participated in the Novato Fire Squirts Camp, they will NOT be eligible for selection.Your camper MUST commit to Tuesday-Saturday from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm to be eligible for this program.
Fire Squirts is more than just a summer camp. Fire Squirts strives to provide children with a fun and safe environment to build trust, teamwork, self-confidence, discipline, and to help them reach their full potential. Throughout the week at Fire Squirts, campers will participate in many activities that professional firefighters do, including checking equipment and engines, participating in live fire drills, physical fitness training, and even rappelling from the drill tower.
All snacks, beverages and lunches are provided. Children are outfitted with their own firefighter turnouts; boots, turnout coat, helmet and bunker pants.
This camp requires a high level of physical activity. It is ideal for children who enjoy staying active and thrive in physically engaging environments. It involves activities such as running, climbing stairs and ladders, and building strength and endurance. Designed to be both fun and challenging, it is best suited for children that are excited to test their abilities in a supportive and encouraging setting.
This is a FREE camp, spots are not guaranteed. Registration closes May 14. All registrants will be entered into a lottery, and families will be notified of the status of their camper on May 16.
