Become a Junior Swim Instructor! As a junior instructor, you will work closely with our experienced lead instructors to assist with swimming lessons to individuals and groups. You'll assist with lesson preparation, demonstrate swimming techniques, provide feedback to students, and ensure their safety in the water. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in teaching while sharing your love of swimming with others. Training will be provided. Swim Lessons are Monday through Thursday from 10:00am-12:15pm at the Hamilton Community Pool. You would need to be at the pool from 9:45am-12:30pm. You would select the weeks you are most interested in applying for on the application. You may be scheduled to volunteer anywhere from 1-3 weeks depending on the volume of applicants.

Novato Parks & Recreation reserves the right to modify or cancel any program, class, or event for any reason. Participants will be notified immediately of such changes. Full refunds will be issued for a program altered or canceled by the City, or if a participant is dissatisfied with any program. Refund requests must be made no later than one business day after the program ends. Refund and/or transfer requests must be approved by the program Supervisor. An $8 registration fee and $5 processing fee ($13 total) will be deducted from the total cost of the refunded program.
