About This Activity
Description
Embark on a journey where learning extends beyond theory to practical application, shaping you into a confident leader and mentor in a camp setting. Apply for the Summer CIT Program and become a catalyst for positive change in the lives of young campers.
The Summer CIT Program is a unique opportunity for young individuals aged 12 to 15 to dive into the world of camp counseling and leadership (12 & 13-year-olds will work with Camp Minis ages 4-6). Throughout the summer, CITs will embark on a journey, gaining hands-on experience and fundamental skills crucial for working effectively with children.
Participants will attend an orientation (May 29th) that will cover the aspects of camp operations. Two dedicated training dates focused on CPR and First Aid, finishing in certification.
Important Note: For the Summer CIT program, tweens/teens will have to undergo an interview and onboarding process, subject to staff approval. If they don't pass the initial screening, the program fee will be refunded.
