About This Activity
Description
This is an open gym class for children ages 5-15 yrs with special and adaptive needs. The goal of this class is to promote gross motor skill development, motor planning, and movement confidence! Our facility is ideal for movement exploration and play. Participants will have access to trampolines, climbing ropes, bars and balance beams. While Novato Gymnastics staff will be on-site to supervise, staff will not be teaching the class. An adult is REQUIRED to stay for the duration of the class and be responsible for their child. Please note, participation is limited to ONE adult per participant. No additional adults, family members, or similar, may be out in the gymnastics space.If your child is outside of the age range for this class, please contact the Novato Gymnastics Center at (415) 899-8279 or gymnastics@novato.org to see if it might be an appropriate fit.
No classes the week of the Fourth of July: Monday, July 1 through Saturday, July 6.
Adult Participation Required: Participation limited to ONE Adult. We require one adult to participate per participant. An exception can be made for siblings (both registered), in which case we will allow one adult for up to two participants. No additional family members may be out in the gymnastics space.
What to Wear: We recommend that participants wear gymnastics style leotards or comfortable athletic style clothing like leggings/shorts and a tight fitting t-shirt. Visit www.novatogymnastics.org/store to learn more.
Stay Home When Sick: If your child is sick, we kindly ask that you keep them home. Participants exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms will not be allowed to participate. Staff reserve the right to accept or decline participants based on their assessment and discretion of any apparent signs or symptoms of illness. Thank you for your understanding.
No Make-Up Classes or Refunds for missed classes. The Novato Gymnastics Center does not offer make-ups, pro-rated reimbursements, or similar for missed days. Thank you for your understanding.
Class Cancellations: Cancellations are subject to a $13.00 processing fee and prorated reimbursement. No exceptions.
No Classes: No classes the week of the Fourth of July: Monday, July 1 through Saturday, July 6. Please refer to the calendar online at www.novatogymnastics.org for no class dates.
