About This Activity
Description
Register your child ages 5-12 for a week of gymnastics, fitness education, obstacle courses, games, arts & crafts and outdoor play! Our experienced staff strive to provide a fun, positive and well-rounded camp experience for all. We aim to strike the balance between a structured gymnastics class format in the mornings, where kids can focus on building their strength and gymnastics skills, and creative time, group games and outdoor play in the afternoons. Camp participants will be grouped by age and ability.
Location: The Novato Gymnastics Center is located at 950 7th Street in downtown Novato. Activities will be held in the Gymnastics Center, Downtown Recreation Center and Pocket Park (an enclosed synthetic turf area adjacent to our building).
Consideration: This camp requires a high level of physical activity. It is ideal for children who enjoy staying active and thrive in physically engaging environments. Each morning will include approximately 2 hours of gymnastics instruction, plus games and outdoor play in the afternoons.
What to Bring: Campers should bring a bag or backpack containing a snack, lunch, and a water bottle. Please ensure all personal items are clearly labeled with your child’s name or initials. This camp involves a high level of physical activity, so it's important that your child has enough food to stay energized and fueled throughout the day.
Communication: Program specific details will be emailed to all registrants prior to the start date. On Monday mornings, parents/guardians are required to provide camp staff with a completed Emergency Form. Thank you for completing the form clearly and in its entirety.
*Daily Camp Schedule:
- 9:00 am Participant Check-In
- 9:15 am Gymnastics
- 10:30 am Snack
- 11:00 am Gymnastics
- 12:30 pm Lunch
- 1:00 pm Games, Arts & Craft Activities
- 2:00 pm Outdoor Play, Rolling Dismissal
- 3:00 pm All camp participants must be picked-up by 3:00 pm

What to Bring: Participants should bring a bag/backpack with a snack, lunch and water bottle. Be sure to pack enough food to keep your child fueled throughout the day. We kindly ask that you avoid packing food containing nuts or peanut butter.
What to Wear: We recommend a leotard or comfortable athletic style clothing and athletic shoes for outdoor activities in the Pocket Park.
Refunds: Once camp begins, no refunds will be given. Additionally, there will be no make-ups, pro-rated reimbursements, or similar for days missed. Thank you for your understanding.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be requested by no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, June 9th. We will make every attempt to fill your child's spot in camp. If we are able to do so, we will provide you with a full refund, minus our standard $13 processing fee. Refunds requested after June 9th will not be accommodated.
