About This Activity
Come join Varsity Head Coach Dave Wilson and members of the CC Lacrosse staff and team for our annual CC Lacrosse Camp. Participants will meet at the CC "Fr Elmer" Stadium each day. The Shamrock Lacrosse camp strives to provide instruction to players on every aspect of the game. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, we provide the training and skills needed to succeed in the competitive sport of Lacrosse. Offensive players will concentrate on stick handling, cradling, catching, throwing, and dodging. Each participant should bring: Water, in addition to their equipment which will include Stick(s), Helmet w/ mouth guard, Gloves, Shoulder pads, Cleats, Athletic protector, Athletic bag for equipment. A reversible practice jersey is provided and hockey equipment is allowed. Defensive players will focus on footwork, body position, stick work, and checks. Goalies will learn body position, stick drills, hand eye coordination drills, and an understanding of their role in the net.
