About This Activity
Description
Bring your homeschooled students to this guided exploration, where they’ll discover how raw sheep wool is transformed into yarn and then woven into fabric. They’ll experience the entire process from fleece to finished textile while enjoying hands-on crafts and activities. Ages 8 – 16 with an adult. $10 per student. To register by phone instead, call 630-850-8112.Class will be at the Graue Mill and Museum, located at 3800 York rd within the Fullersburg Woods campus in Oak Brook. The parking lot is on the west side of Spring rd 1 block west of York rd. Please meet at the Graue Mill entrance area. Bring a water bottle and weather-appropriate clothes and shoes. Classes will be indoor and outdoor.
