In this engaging, hands-on camp, students will explore the rich culture of Japan through language, art, and creative play. Campers will learn to write their names in Japanese, practice basic hiragana and introductory kanji, and create traditional art forms such as origami and calligraphy. Interactive cultural activities bring learning to life, sparking curiosity and connection. This joyful program encourages creativity, builds confidence, and inspires a deeper appreciation for global cultures.Instruction is led by Rie Sato Venegas, an experienced art and Japanese language teacher who brings creativity and cultural exploration into every lesson. Ms. Sato is passionate about inspiring young artists and helping students grow in both confidence and skill.
