About This Activity
Kids Musical Theatre Showcase Program at Oak Hills (Thursday) Experience: All experience levels are encouraged to enroll! Rehearsals: 1st-5th Graders: Performers will rehearse every Thursday from 3-4:30p. The Showcase Program: The students will sign up to participate in a Broadway Revue featuring songs from popular Broadway musicals. The students will be taught singing and choreography for a final showcase performance. Auditions & Casting: If you plan to participate as part of the general ensemble, you will not need to send in an audition. If you would like to be considered for a featured role (solo, duet, special feature), please be sure to check this request in the registration form. Additional info will be sent to the students who wish to be considered for a featured role. Program Duration: Spring Semester (8 Weeks, March 12 - May 7). The final showcase will be performed on May 7th at the school's MPR. (Time TBA). Session Capacity We are able to enroll 40 kids into the program. A waitlist will open after the first 40 kids are enrolled.
