During our weekly Coding Camps, students will learn the building blocks of logic, programming, and creativity by designing and coding a variety of programming projects that range from Video Games, Applications, & Websites to Coding Robotics that create Art! We use both on-screen and off-screen activities to teach our campers all about the Art of CodeFu from grid-art to coding boardgames. We teach languages of computer programming beginning with Block-Based coding then progressing to the more advanced languages such as Python, Java, HTML, CSS & JS. In addition, offscreen coding activities will be implemented to teach the importance of technology and its role in the balance with being Active and In Tune with the outside world ~ The Ying & Yang of Technology & Nature. We will play a variety of different group games and also read stories to our kids involving our Social & Emotional Theme of the day! As former teachers, we understand that keeping students engaged and safe is just as important as good curriculum. The CodeFu curriculum is designed using years of classroom experience and proven techniques that ensure that our students are not only learning but are safely engaged and having fun! By focusing on important themes crucial to healthy Social and Emotional development, we’ve created a unique unparalleled, opportunity for students in K - 5th Grade Camp at St Paul's Episcopal Summer! See you all there! Hi Ya!! Week 1 (Stars, Planets, Galaxies, Space Week) Week 2 (Your Favorite Super Hero Week) Week 3 (Explore Nature & Animals Week) Week 4 (Travel the World & Try New Things Week)
