About This Activity
Lead Art Teacher: Derrick Polk Derrick Polk joined St. Paul's in 2017 and is currently the K-5 Art Teacher. Mr. Polk loves the Arts; he has a background in theater, dance, illustration, and more. Week Three Art Themes: ** Mixed media Mural posters ** Using different materials and art styles to create awesome posters **Sand art** Experiment with colorful sand to create lpictures with unique texture **Story book illustration ** Choose a short story and illustrate characters for a book **Abstract painting ** Explore abstract art with bold colors and shapes **Mosaic Madness ** We will use materials such as tile,beans, gems,and more to create mosaics.
