Transitional Kindergarten Camp at St. Paul’s provides a nurturing and welcoming introduction to our kindergarten community. Our program is thoughtfully crafted to help children acclimate to their new school environment, covering essential procedures, daily routines, and expectations. This supportive approach ensures that students feel prepared and excited for their upcoming kindergarten adventure. Throughout the week, students will engage in meaningful social and emotional interactions with their peers, both indoors and outdoors. They will also participate in a variety of enriching activities, including arts and crafts, as well as movement exercises, fostering creativity and physical development. Our Primary Objectives for Transitional Kindergarten Camp: Familiarity with School Procedures: Students will enter kindergarten with a clear understanding of essential school procedures and structures. Enhanced Readiness: Our program will boost students' readiness for a successful start to the school year. Social Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Students will develop important social communication and problem-solving skills. Building Connections: Children will have the opportunity to make new friends and meet some of St. Paul’s teachers and administrators before the first day of school. Exploratory Campus Tours: Students will participate in several tours of the lower school campus, engaging in activities across various spaces.
