About This Activity
This class will get you started with the basics of knitting and you can expand your skills as well. You will learn about straight, double point, and circular needles. You will learn to cast on stitches, the basic knit and purl stitches, and how to read a pattern. Or you will be able to develop your knitting skills further. There will be several handouts at the beginning of class. The first thing we will make is a basic dishcloth. Then we will move on to a cowl and other projects as time allows or that you bring to class. *There is a supply list that will be sent to you once we have enough students for a class. The supplies will cost about $20 and should be purchased before the first class. Storm makeup will be Oct. 14.*
