About This Activity
In this class you will learn the basic chords and scales. By the end of the 6-week class you will be able to play songs for your own entertainment or to entertain others. You will need a guitar, Hal Leonard Guitar Lesson Book 1 (cost about $10) and a 3-ring binder for our class notes. However, please do not buy it until you hear from the office. Bring songs that you know or want to learn and bring extra copies for others.
