Writing Believable Characters Characters are the drivers of stories. If your characters are flat, boring, or cookie cutter, people will stop reading. So, how do you write characters who are believable as real, rounded people? Characters who jump off the page; characters you want to hang out with; who speak with their own unique voices? Spoiler alert: Not by filling out a character worksheet or writing a detailed bio. Writing assignments will be required, and each assignment will be critiqued by the class, workshop style. It may get a little intense. But it absolutely should be fun. No class on 10/8 due to Parent Teacher Conferences. Limit 10 students. Schedule: 9/17/26-10/29/26 | Thursday | 5:30 PM-7:30 PM Messalonskee High School, Room 208 Instructor: Sharon Lee Registration Fee: $84
