About This Activity

For children ages U5-U7, our camps will introduce and develop your child's love of soccer through a sequence of dribbling, shooting, balance, running, jumping, and movement educational drills along with a variety of fun-filled games. Your child will learn how to follow direction and improve their social skills by connecting with their peers and instructors. For children ages U8-U10, our camps will reinforce proper technique and develops player’s athletic abilities through a sequence of muscle control, balance, eye-foot coordination, running/dribbling with the ball, passing, receiving, airballs, ball control while keeping their head/eyes up and overall awareness. Your child will learn how to dominate the ball by having the correct body mechanics. Player development is achieved with game-like activities and is enjoyed by all players. In addition, if your child is preparing to play for a recreation or club team; this program will institute the fundamental soccer skills required for the next level of competition. For player’s ages U11-U14 and U15-U19, our camps allow the developing player to be competent in all aspects of basic techniques through a sequence of educational movement and execution. Timing and delivery are important factors and knowing when and why to use a movement is one of the tactics repeated during this session. Your child will sharpen their technique, which will lead to execution, and finally leads to ball skill in live play. Situational awareness and decision making are both challenged at this age. Having awareness and confidence in their own decision making allows players to execute techniques and opportunities while simultaneously being under the pressure of opponents, specifically in tight spaces. Our FSS players are easily recognized for their high skill level, creative talent, situational awareness, respectful sportsmanship and their passion and respect for the beautiful game of soccer.
