About This Activity
The Active Start Program is the first progression in the TOP Soccer Player Pathway and is suitable for players who are new to soccer. Our age and stage appropriate club curriculum is designed to individually challenge each player and focuses on various aspects of sports across the four corners of Long-Term Player Development (LTPD). Through a combination of skill development activities, physical literacy, and small-sided games, we aim to help participants reach their full potential and develop a passion for Soccer. Each group, led by dedicated TOP Soccer coaches, consists of a maximum of 8 players. We prioritize consistency by scheduling coaches with their respective groups each week, and we recognize the importance of building bonds and understanding each child's development. The program follows a Game-Activity-Game (GAG) format, allowing players to transfer skill development into a small-sided game environment while making sessions fun and engaging. Recreational Program Cancellation Policy We understand that schedules can change, but facilities, coaches, equipment, and uniforms are all organized well before the program begins and each registration plays an important role in making our programs run smoothly. For recreational programs, including weekly sessions, leagues, or school-year camps, excluding Academy teams, our cancellation policy is as follows: All cancellation requests must be made in writing at least 30-days before the program begins to receive a full refund. All cancellations are subject to a $50 administrative fee per registration. After the 30-day cancellation deadline, no refunds will be provided any program cancellations.
