Minnows is for those children who have successfully demonstrated Exit Skills from either Jellyfish, Sea Horse, or Sea Otter Pups/Parent & Tot levels.
Skills taught include: Review of Jellyfish/Sea Horse skills; Introduction to side breathing; Intro to treading; Combined arm/leg action on front/back; Kicking & finning on front/back; Safety Skills.
Children who can fully complete class Exit Skills may be considered for enrollment in a higher level.
Exit Skills: Swim combined stroke on front the width of the pool without assistance, as well as kicking and finning on back the width of the pool without assistance.
