Description
Sports for Life is a traditional summer day camp, with a focus on sports. Our experienced counselors will teach the fundamentals of a variety of sports in a positive and supportive environment. In addition to improving physical skills, we focus on building self-esteem, positive attitudes, and sportsmanship. Please note that this is not an intensive sports-skills camp, so campers and players of all levels are welcome - we will have fun, learn teamwork, and build character together! We will take at least one to two field trips per week, sometimes they will be sports related and sometimes they won’t! Please bring your own snacks, lunch, and water bottle. Staff-to-camper ratio is 1:8. Sports for Life will be at Roosevelt Elementary June 24-June 28 Soccer Week July 1-5 Field Games & Dodgeball Week July 8-12 Basketball Week (Seattle Storm trip on Wednesday July 10th) July 15-19 Tennis & Pickleball Week @ Pioneer Elementary & OHS Courts July 22-26 Flag Football & Volleyball (2 separate camps) July 29-August 2 Baseball (Trip to Tacoma Rainiers on Tuesday July 30) August 5-9 Basketball August 12-16 Soccer Week August 19-23 Field Games & Dodgeball Week Please download the Sports For Life Parent Packet, which includes the important parent paperwork. This is listed at the bottom of this screen and is titled "Download Attached File" under "More Information". Summer Camp Withdrawals/Transfers: Refunds for camp registrations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per session/week. A full refund, excluding the cancellation fee, will be issued if cancellation notification is received at least 14 days before the camp session's first date. If withdrawal occurs within 2 to 14 days of the camp session's start, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total camp fee. Withdrawals after 5:00 pm on the Friday before a camp week will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee. No refunds will be given after the camp begins unless the satisfaction policy applies. Transfers are allowed at no cost, provided there is an available spot; however, campers transferring from a camp to a waiting list will be charged the appropriate fee.
