Description
Discover various animation styles using iPads. Craft your animation story through Claymation, common objects, paper cut-outs, and digital 2-D drawings. Experiment with sound production, editing, and storytelling while employing various techniques to bring your animation to life. Drop-off is available starting at 9:15 a.m. Lunchtime supervision is available for those signed up for both morning and afternoon media camps during the same week. Please bring snacks, lunch, and a water bottle. Staff-to-camper ratio is 1:5 Instructor: Thurston Community Media (TCM)
Camp will be held at Thurston Community Media, 440 Yauger Way, Suite C, Olympia. Drop-off is available at 9:15 a.m. Bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.
Summer Camp Withdrawals/Transfers: Refunds for camp registrations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per session/week. A full refund, excluding the cancellation fee, will be issued if cancellation notification is received at least 14 days before the camp session's first date. If withdrawal occurs within 2 to 14 days of the camp session's start, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total camp fee. Withdrawals after 5:00 pm on the Friday before a camp week will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee. No refunds will be given after the camp begins unless the satisfaction policy applies. Transfers are allowed at no cost, provided there is an available spot; however, campers transferring from a camp to a waiting list will be charged the appropriate fee.
