Discover the limitless world of animation! Experiment in stop-motion, claymation, and 2d animation, with a wide variety of techniques to choose from, you don’t need to draw! Animate objects, puppets, paper, clay, or even yourself! Students will experiment with animation software including sound production, editing, and storytelling techniques. Explore the diverse world of animation and experiment with stop motion, claymation, 2D digital drawings and other forms of animation. Delve into sound production, editing, and narrative storytelling. Drop off is available at 9:15 am. Bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. Please bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. Staff-to-camper ratio is 1:5. Instructor: TCMedia
Camp will be held at Thurston Community Media, 440 Yauger Way, Suite C, Olympia. Drop-off is available at 9:15 a.m. Bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. Summer Camp Withdrawals/Transfers: Refunds for camp registrations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per session/week. A full refund, excluding the cancellation fee, will be issued if cancellation notification is received at least 14 days before the camp session's first date. If withdrawal occurs within 2 to 14 days of the camp session's start, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total camp fee. Withdrawals after 5:00 pm on the Friday before a camp week will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee. No refunds will be given after the camp begins unless the satisfaction policy applies. Transfers are allowed at no cost, provided there is an available spot; however, campers transferring from a camp to a waiting list will be charged the appropriate fee.
