About This Activity
Description
Build. Cool. Stuff. This camp is all about tool use, creativity, and engineering! Each day, you’ll work on a new building project to take home, with a focus on camping and outdoor themes. You’ll even create the tools needed to build other projects! Examples include making a wood baton, natural fiber cordage, hand-carved wooden spoons and bowls, paracord survival bracelets or belts, dream catchers, feathersticks, natural dye projects, walking sticks, fishing spears/traps, and more. Projects may vary depending on your interests and the instructor’s guidance. Throughout the camp, you’ll practice focus, patience, problem-solving, and common sense. For details about the curriculum to help you decide if this camp is right for your camper, call Coyle Outside at 541-760-0774.
