This involves both art and heart – our relationship to the many threatened species of the world. With provided materials we will create a mask for a non-human living being (animals, birds, fish, insects, etc). Then we will conduct a “council meeting” of all these beings (speaking in character of our critter with mask on) regarding the state of our Earth and what needs to happen for all our well beings. Previous participants describe this council meeting as “captivating” and insight provoking. Instructor: Lynn Fitz-Hugh, Thurston Friends of Trees
