If you’re passionate about science, technology, engineering, and the arts, this camp offers an exciting opportunity to explore a variety of engaging, hands-on activities. You’ll get to experience the fascinating world of science through fun experiments like making a volcano, setting off exciting chemical reactions, and even fitting a whole egg into a bottle. Staff-to-camper ratio, 1:8. Instructor: Big Brothers Big Sisters staff
Prerequisites: familiarity with computers and access to personal software account logins and the ability to work independently and with a partner.
Summer Camp Withdrawals/Transfers: Camp Refunds for camp registrations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per session/week. A full refund, excluding the cancellation fee, will be issued if cancellation notification is received at least 14 days before the camp session's first date. If withdrawal occurs within 2 to 14 days of the camp session's start, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total camp fee. Withdrawals after 5:00 pm on the Friday before a camp week will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee. No refunds will be given after the camp begins unless the satisfaction policy applies. Transfers are allowed at no cost, provided there is an available spot; however, campers transferring from a camp to a waiting list will be charged the appropriate fee.
