Description
Sports for Life is an action-packed day camp designed for kids who love sports and outdoor fun! You’ll learn the fundamentals of various sports in a positive, supportive environment where everyone—no matter their skill level—can improve, build confidence, and develop teamwork. In addition to sports and camp games, we’ll go on one to two field trips each week, often including water play. Some trips will focus on sports, while others are just for fun, but all are exciting adventures! Please note, this is not an intensive, sports-only camp. We incorporate classic day camp activities like reading time and arts & crafts, offering a fun and balanced experience. Please bring your own snacks, lunch, and water bottle. The staff-to-camper ratio is 1:8. Camp Sessions and Themes for 2025: June 23-27 Theme: Soccer Week June 30-July 3 Theme: Field Games & Dodgeball Week July 7-11 Theme: Tennis & Pickleball Week Location: Pioneer Elementary July 14-18 Theme: Basketball Week Special Event: Seattle Storm Trip on Wednesday July 16th July 21-25 Theme: Flag Football & Volleyball Week (two separate camps) July 28 – August 1 Theme: Soccer Week August 4-8 Theme: Baseball Week Special Event: Trip to Tacoma Rainiers on Tuesday, August 5th August 11-15 Theme: Basketball Week August 18-22 Theme: Field Games & Dodgeball Week Location: Sports for Life will be held at Roosevelt Elementary. Please download the Sports for Life Parent Packet for important camp paperwork, located at the bottom of this screen under "More Information." Summer Camp Withdrawals/Transfers: Refunds for camp registrations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per session/week. A full refund, excluding the cancellation fee, will be issued if cancellation notification is received at least 14 days before the camp session's first date. If withdrawal occurs within 2 to 14 days of the camp session’s start, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total camp fee. Withdrawals after 5:00 pm on the Friday before a camp week will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee. No refunds will be given after the camp begins unless the satisfaction policy applies. Transfers are allowed at no cost, provided there is an available spot. However, campers transferring from a camp to a waiting list will be charged the appropriate fee.
