About This Activity
Description
The word mandala comes from Sanskrit and means “circle” or “sacred center.” For over 2,300 years, circular patterns have been used across cultures—including Tibetan and Native American traditions—as tools for centering and healing. In this workshop, you’ll create your own personal mandala using watercolor pencils, enhanced with ink outlines. Drawing on principles of geometry and symmetry found in nature, you can use stencils or design your own radial pattern. All materials are provided. Instructor: Ellen Miffitt
