Description
This Specialized Recreation class is designed for caregivers and children developmentally ages 2-3 who are neurodivergent and/or on the autism spectrum. Partnering with South Sound Dance Access, we provide a nurturing space for creative dance that fosters motor skills, self-expression, and mind-body connection. Supported with props from Sensory Tool House LLC. Together we will explore creative movement, concept-based games, and movement elements like time, space, and direction, and expressive movement!
Please bring your dancer in comfy cloths they can easily move in. Kids can dance in socks or bare feet. Please bring headphones for your child if they benefit from wearing them, we will have a few spare pairs as well!
