Building upon the foundations laid in Beginning Watercolor, this course delves deeper into the art of watercolor painting. Explore advanced techniques, materials, and thinking processes to enhance your skills. Upgrade to higher-quality paper and experiment with a wider range of brushes for more expressive creations. Our primary goal is to guide you towards creating more comprehensive compositions. Discover the layers that constitute a painting and the step-by-step approach to crafting an entire scene. We will explore these concepts to help you execute fully realized paintings. Prerequisite: Completion of Beginning Watercolor or advanced watercolor skills are recommended. Supplies Needed: Watercolor paper (cold press), at least 4 watercolor brushes, either box watercolor or tub, masking tape & paper towels.
