About This Activity
Description
This program is great for day camp graduates and teens looking for leadership opportunities! LITs gain leadership skills, learn age-appropriate games and activities, build teamwork, practice role modeling and complete projects while working with younger campers. The LIT program will consist of a two-week training program from July 1-12 (no camp on July 4), and a week that the participant chooses later in the summer to job shadow and get more hands-on experience. Please bring your own snacks, lunch, & water bottle. Staff-to-camper ratio is 1:6. Training will take place each day from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, so please make sure you arrive by 9:00 AM.
Summer Camp Withdrawals/Transfers: Refunds for camp registrations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per session/week. A full refund, excluding the cancellation fee, will be issued if cancellation notification is received at least 14 days before the camp session's first date. If withdrawal occurs within 2 to 14 days of the camp session's start, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total camp fee. Withdrawals after 5:00 pm on the Friday before a camp week will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee. No refunds will be given after the camp begins unless the satisfaction policy applies. Transfers are allowed at no cost, provided there is an available spot; however, campers transferring from a camp to a waiting list will be charged the appropriate fee.
