Lights, cameras, LEGO® action! Use LEGO Bricks to tell YOUR story, complete with music, special effects and all your favorite LEGO mini-figure characters! In this unique and creative camp, students will plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce their own mini-movie using Stop Motion Animation. Working as a team, students will use LEGO components to build the set and props, then shoot their movie using a camera. Teams will use movie-making software to add special effects, titles, credits and more. When the movie is complete, campers will impress friends and family with a screening party on the last day of camp and take home a flash drive with their movie file to share. Don't miss your chance to be a movie producer!All campers also make and take home a Bricks 4 Kidz mini-figure and photo collage of the week’s experience. Please bring a snack and water bottle. For an all-day option, also sign up for the Bricks 4 Kidz LEGO Robotics Camp and receive half-hour early drop-off, lunch hour, and half-hour late pick-up AT NO EXTRA CHARGE (a $167 value). Summer Camp Withdrawals/Transfers: Refunds for camp registrations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee per session/week. A full refund, excluding the cancellation fee, will be issued if cancellation notification is received at least 14 days before the camp session's first date. If withdrawal occurs within 2 to 14 days of the camp session's start, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the total camp fee. Withdrawals after 5:00 pm on the Friday before a camp week will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee. No refunds will be given after the camp begins unless the satisfaction policy applies. Transfers are allowed at no cost, provided there is an available spot; however, campers transferring from a camp to a waiting list will be charged the appropriate fee.
