Join us for a two-day high school beginner welding camp! Students will participate in hands-on training and engaging technical exercises focusing on fillet welding, along with an introduction to flat groove welding, gas metal arc welding, or flux core arc welding. This is a unique opportunity for students to earn an American Welding Society (AWS) D1.1 Welder Procedure Qualification Record. This dynamic experience will inspire students to explore rewarding careers in the welding and metal fabrication industry. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity! Clothing requirements for safety: ** Participants are required to wear long-sleeved cotton shirts, jeans that can be worn over boots (with no rips or frays), high cotton socks, and leather steel-toed work boots. Note: We want all interested students to be able to participate. If obtaining required safety gear, including steel-toed boots, is a concern, support may be available. Please reach out to us—we’re happy to help. Lunch provided
