AM - Lego Engineering Black Friday Camp - ORCHARD PARK Orchard Park Friday, November 28, 2025 9am - 12pm Miss Jen R. During this Lego themed camp, campers will build creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork through the lens of Lego engineering. To begin, campers will participate in a STEM challenge using legos, we will enjoy a read-aloud from Rosie Revere, Engineer by Andrea Beaty followed by a short discussion connecting the story’s themes of perseverance and innovation to their own building projects. In the art component, students will sketch and decorate “blueprints” of their Lego creations, then use mixed media (markers, watercolor washes, or collage) to imagine colorful backdrops or environments for their builds. Finally, the camp will emphasize cooperative learning through a small group challenges, where they will create and test Lego mazes.
